Seeing Double : the products I like to buy before they even run out

Some products you just cannot live without, like the thought of running out before you have bought another one actually fills you with fear.  Do you know what I mean?

Today I am going to share some of the products that I have bought before I have even had a chance to use it up purely because I bear to be without it.

First up is an absolute staple in my skin care regime; day or night The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Serum always manages to deliver the right amount of hydration my skin is craving.  Whether I am having a really dry day or just whether I need a light serum to go under a heavy night time moisturiser, this serum helps guide my skin right back to where it needs to be.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo [+] has been a favourite of mine for quite some time.  This clinically proven spot fighter always helps me out during those pesky break out times.  It is really good as a base for under make-up, non-greasy and leaves my skin feeling smooth and refined.  This product has seen me through some hard times, with its gentle formula and ability to help save skin from marks left behind from acne spots, it is something I cannot live without.

I was the biggest scardy cat when it came to using oil cleansers.  With my oily skin, I thought it was a total no no to use an oil cleanser on my skin but I was so wrong.  Now oil cleansers are always my first step when it comes to cleansing as they break down make-up so well.  Although I'm always a bit skeptical about products which contain the word 'miracle', The L'Oreal Miracle Cleansing Oil was an accidental discovery I made whilst shopping in a supermarket one time.  My first experience with oil cleansing, this product has now become a favourite of mine as it is gentle, smells lovely and leaves my skin feeling and looking calm and refreshed.  I find this is doesn't last as long as most cleansers and I get through a bottle in a couple of months and hence why I like to keep a back-up at the ready.

I think The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter is such an underrated product, living in the shadow of it's bigger sister the Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil.  When I first purchased this product, I will admit it scared me.  I couldn't work out how to use it; the product looks hard like a wax in the tin but when I actually delved in it is actually very easy to use.  All you need to do is scoop out a little ball and rub it between your fingers and it melts in seconds into a beautiful smelling oil. I actually much prefer this cleanser to the oil and I find it leaves my skin calm, reduces redness and feels really clean but not tight after use.  This is a great second cleanse on days when my skin is having a bit of a melt down as I know it will be nice and gentle.

I am pretty sure I own all items from The Body Shops Camomile range and next up is a product I have at least two back ups of, sometimes more.  The Body Shop Waterproof Eye & Lip Make Up Remover is the best mascara remover I've tried - I actually don't buy anything but this product because it works so well.  It doesn't matter what mascara I am wearing, once applied on a cotton pad and swept over the lashes, this solution breaks down all mascara effectively and easily.  For someone who has very sensitive eyes it is important to find a product that does not irritate or sting and this is a gentle as they come.

**Warning - desert island stuff alert **  If there was only one product I could buy for the rest of my life, this would be it.  The La Roche-Posay Serozinc is a blogger favourite and for very good reason.  If like me, you suffer from acne cysts, then this product will improve your skin greatly as it contains zinc which known for healing acne prone skin.  I use this after cleansing my skin before I go to bed as a toner and it makes my skin feel refreshed and when used every night, I find it helps improve the appearance and feel of acne spots within a few days.

Do you have any products which you have already bought before you've run out?  I'd love to hear from you on what you consider absolute essentials!
